The Western Antique Aeroplane & Automobile Museum or WAAAM is a non-profit foundation located in Hood River, Oregon. Camp Patriot: is a non-profit corporation which exists to bring disabled U.S. military veterans to Montana for outdoor recreational therapy. Research over the years has shown marked improvement for disabled people who are encouraged and engaged in outdoor activities. Technological advances with prosthetic and adaptive equipment design have opened many doors to the outdoor activities that were previously barriers to the disabled. With over 2.3 million disabled veterans in the U.S. and growing many of the dreams these men and women had were lost due to injury. With the construction of a first class lodge outside of Liddy, Mt. they will be able to provide a range of outdoor activities, and will be equipped to accommodate veterans with an array of activities at no cost to the veterans.
