Timber Kings Honoured: Ducks Unlimited Prince George

On October 24, 2014 two of the Timber Kings, Joel Roorda and Bryan Reid, Sr., were invited to be the guests of honour at the Ducks Unlimited banquet in Prince George, BC.

Bryan and Joel had an excellent evening at the event. The carvings (a bear, duck and salmon) and tables were a huge success, as was the “Timber Kings” theme. Bryan remarked that attendees were even decked out in logging attire! We are thankful to have received a gift from Josh and his family, of the Keg and Art Knapp Prince George; the historical logging photo will be finding its new home in our lobby.

Ken Ferris, the coordinator of the event, was overjoyed at the success of the event as well as the authenticity of having the two Timber Kings brought to the evening. We too were pleased to be a part of such an excellent event and proud to support a worthy cause.
